This is the third consecutive article talking about Mercedes and the second consecutive one where we present a tuning kit. After we introduced the eccentric Mercedes SLS AMG tuning kit by Domanig, now, another AMG model, C63, was improved through a tuning kit prepared by Wimmer RS tuners and Dunlop for the competition in Papenburg.
According to the press release, the modified Mercedes C63 AMG delivers 540 horsepower hitting 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds, thanks to a K&N air filter, a recalibrated ECU unit, an improved evacuation system but also thanks to the Dunlop Sportmaxx GT tires of 235/35/19 (front) and 265/35/19 (rear).
The German performance model with a little help from the Wimmer RS tuners manages to achieve a limited top speed of 308 km/h while the acceleration from 0 to 200 km/h is achieved in 12.6 seconds. The competition in Papenburg involves acceleration to 300 km/h and sharp braking in order to get some standings on the performance and improve them.
