2016 BMW M4 GTS is official, will be produced in limited quantity

BMW is not wasting time and unveiled the all-new M4 GTS, a high-performance model with a revised look and more power.

Speaking of power, the 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo engine is capable to deliver 500 horses and 600 Nm of torque for a 0-100 km/h sprint in just 3,8 seconds.

This is possible also thanks to the advanced seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission. This time, BMW did not limit the top speed at 250 km/h, so you can hit over 300 km/h.

There’s no surprise that the Bavarians provide now improved carbon ceramic brakes in order to keep up with the massive power. Other tweaks include a six-point harness, a fire extinguisher, an adjustable M coilover suspension and a roll-bar. For comfort, BMW opted for carbon fiber bucket seats with Merino leather or Alcantara as well as a new sport steering wheel covered in Alcantara as well.

In order to lose weight, several parts such the instrument panel and door trim were revised while the rear seats have been completely removed. Last but not least, the exterior is dominated by new LED headlights, revised bumpers and side skirts, new hood and a rear wing. In the rear we also notice the OLED taillights and the beefy exhaust system with four pipes.

A new set of alloy wheels from the M division are offered and they are shod in high-performance Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. The all-new BMW M4 GTS will be offered in a limited run of 700 units.
