It seems that today’s trending topic is “sold out” as another carmaker proudly announced that a limited-run model is no longer available.
This time, it’s BMW that told us the M4 GTS, a model built in only 700 examples, has sold out. The BMW M4 GTS has been up for order for about two months, time needed for 700 customers to pay at least 142,600, the starting price of the German supercar.
The BMW M4 GTS stands out thanks to the matte grey finish with Acid Orange inserts. Most of the cars were sold in the United States, namely 300. Ten times less entered the UK and four arrived in Netherlands.
Under the hood of the BMW M4 GTS sits a 3.0-liter gasoline engine tweaked to produce 500 horses and 600 Nm of torque. Thanks to a seven-speed M DCT transmission, the 0-100 km/h acceleration is possible in 3,8 seconds with a top speed of 305 km/h.
Besides the Mineral Grey finish, BMW also offers new Frozen Dark Grey, Alpine White and Sapphire Black. Now it’s up to you to consider if the improved appearance and the extra power of the GTS model is worth an almost doubled price tag over the standard model.
