The Frankfurt Motor Show is just around the corner and Volkswagen decided to announce the introduction of the Caddy BlueMotion van.
The new model is going to be the most frugal version in the range with a 1.6-liter TDI producing 102 horsepower and 250Nm of torque.

Fuel economy figures are rated at 4,5 liters/100km and CO2 emissions of 117 g/km. In order to achieve these numbers, the company offers low rolling resistance tires, a revised ECU and a start/stop system.

At the exterior, you will find a reduced ground clearance but also new wheel covers. Inside, VW provides gloss black air vents, hill hold assist, new upholstery and cruise control.

“The new Caddy BlueMotion with a short wheelbase is available in four equipment versions,” says VW.

Pricing starts at €17,720 in the local market with first models to be delivered towards the end of this year.
