Volkswagen released official pricing details for the new e-up! in the UK. The German model starts at £19,250, a price which includes a £5,000 government grant. Under the hood we find an electric motor producing 82 horsepower and 210Nm of torque.
Thanks to a 18,7 kWh battery pack, the estimated driving range is 160 kilometers with a time of about 9 hours for charging.
The 0-100 km/h sprint of the new VW e-up! is rated at 12,4 seconds with a top speed of 130 km/h. Inside, buyers will benefit from heated seats, cruise control, DAB digital radio, Bluetooth connectivity and rear parking sensors.
“In the UK e-up! customers will be offered an optional wall box for home garage use. This provides a 3.6 kW supply and can recharge a completely flat battery in six hours,” says the carmaker.
Volkswagen will open orders for the new e-up! starting December 2. First units will arrive at the customers early next year.
