2016 SEMA Show: Chevrolet Camaro SS Slammer Introduced

The 2016 SEMA show has just opened its gates and a lot of carmakers have piled in to reveal their latest models. Chevrolet is breaking the ice as well with a wide choice of hot models, including the all-new Camaro SS Slammer, seen below wearing the outstanding Dazzling Black exterior wrap.

The model is looking extremely aggressive, thanks to the plethora of custom aero styling bits and impressive performance under the hood.

The car stands out from the crowd with advanced aerodynamics, thanks to the Chevrolet Accessories, consisting of a ground effects kit, Camaro fender badges, black bowtie emblems, tinted head and taillights, adding the 22-inch and 24-inch front and rear chrome alloy wheels with 245-30R22 tires up front and 275-25R24 at the rear.

From a mechanical standpoint, the Chevrolet Camaro SS Slammer packs Chevrolet Performance front brake kit, stainless steel exhaust system, axle-black, as well as the close-outs in the engine compartment panels. Inside, the cabin is also highlighted by the Bose audio system with Active Noise Cancellation calibration.

In the engine department, the hot shot is equipped with a massive 6.2-liter V8 engine, with 455 horsepower and 455 lb-ft of torque, paired to a six-speed manual transmission with Active Rev Match. Full details and prices will be revealed after the 2016 SEMA show.

Besides the Camaro SS Slammer, the North American carmaker has also presented other important concepts in a premiere, such as the Colorado Z71 Hurley, the Camaro SS Drag Race or COPO, all of them showcased with exquisite styling features and impressive performance.
