The Jaguar British carmaker is soon planning to introduce the 2015 Jaguar XE sports car on the United Kingdom market, where the cheapest version, the SE, will be sold for 26,995 GBP. Apart from the official base price, the company has also released some engine details.
The base entry-level 2015 Jaguar XE SE will come with a 2.0i-liter unit, developing 200 horsepower, which should be enough to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds. Next in kin will be the Prestige, the Portfolio, R-Sport and the S versions, which will also receive some diesel and petrol units.
For instance, the Prestige will be getting the 2.0-liter unit, with 237 horsepower. Other engines also include the 2.0d-liter with 180 horsepower, the 2.0i with 240 horsepower, as well as the top of the line 3.0-liter with 340 horsepower.
As standard features, the 2015 Jaguar XE will receive some safety systems, like the Lane Departure warning or the AEB (Autonomous Emergency Braking), a feature also found on the Audi A4, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class or the BMW 3-Series.
Inside, the Jaguar 2015 XE will tweak cruise control, satellite navigation system, DAB radio and other details which are not revealed for the moment. We are waiting for more information in the upcoming period.
