Peugeot officially prices the new 208 GTi at £18,895 in the United Kingdom. Following to go on sale in March, the 208 GTi comes with a 1.6-liter unit producing 200hp and 275Nm of torque and a six-speed manual transmission.
The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is possible in 6,8 seconds which is quite impressive for a four-cylinder unit.
In terms of styling, the French model comes with revised bumpers, new LED daytime running lights, 17-inch alloy wheels with 205/45 tires and red inserts.
Inside, you will find new sport seats, leather upholstery, aluminum pedals and rear parking sensors. Other improvements brought by the French carmaker include a MacPherson strut front suspension, new dampers and springs but also wider tracks.
Anti-roll bars alongside a revised steering system are also part of the package which aims to improve the sportiness of the 208 GTi.
