Audi announced their plans to introduce the new A3 e-tron at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. We talk about a plug-in hybrid model powered by a 1.4-liter TFSI engine and an electric motor.
According to the carmaker, this powertrain offers a total output of 204 horsepower and 350Nm of torque.

When coupled to a six-speed S tronic transmission, the Audi A3 e-tron sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 7,6 seconds before hitting a top speed of 222 km/h.

The German hybrid can be driven in normal, hybrid and electric modes, with the latter to provide a driving range of 50 kilometers at speeds up to 130 km/h. Fuel economy figures are rated at 1,5 liters/100km (156,8mpg US) and CO2 emissions of 35 g/km.
