The Germans at DMC released photos and details on the Lamborghini Aventador tuning kit. Called Edizione GT, the Italian sports car gets a series of styling tweaks with no performance upgrades.
Therefore, under the hood we will find the same 6.5-liter V12 engine which normally delivers 700 horsepower and 690 Nm of torque, for a 0-100 km/h sprint in 2,9 seconds and a top speed of 350 km/h.
However, the LP988 moniker from the package name may hint to a serious power boost to 988 horsepower. Details in this regard are still unknown yet.
At the exterior, we do know that the Italian model gets new carbon fiber bumpers, revised side skirts and a rear wing.
There is also a new set of alloy wheels with special tires, revised mirrors and a special exhaust system. We expect styling improvements to be offered inside as well. Pricing and availability details on DMC’s package will be released shortly.
