Opel decided to let us know the official pricing of the Corsa OPC, at least in the home market. Priced from €24,395 (with VAT), the hot hatch comes with improved looks and a potent 1.6-liter four-cylinder unit.
With a total output of 207 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque, the 0-100 km/h sprint is possible in just 6,8 seconds with a top speed of 230 km/h. A six-speed manual transmission sends power to the wheels.
On the outside, you will notice the new 17-inch alloy wheels, bi-xenon headlights, larger side skirts, a tailgate-mounted spoiler and LED daytime running lights. There’s also an OPC Performance Package that comes with larger 18-inch alloys, a locking differential and high-performance Brembo brakes.
Inside the cabin, buyers will get stainless steel pedals, Recaro seats, a flat-bottom steering wheel and a six-speaker audio system.
Bluetooth connectivity as well as some USB inputs are also offered but that’s pretty standard. An optional IntelliLink infotainment system can be fitted but comes at an extra cost. If you are concerned about fuel consumption, Opel announced an average of 37,6 mpg UK or 7,5 liters/100 km with CO2 emissions of 174 g/km.
