Suzuki comes yet again in our attention, this time with the Swift Sport model, after yesterday, they unveiled the Swift 4×4 in the UK.
The sportier model is motivated by a 1.6-liter VVT engine producing 136 horsepower and 160Nm of torque with fuel economy figures of 44,1mpg UK (6,4 liters/100km). The petrol unit is linked to a six-speed manual transmission with CO2 emissions of 147 g/km.
Exterior styling features include new Boost Blue Pearl, Cosmetic Black Pearl, Silky Silver or Cool White Pearl finishes, new tailpipes and other minor tweaks. Inside, buyers will get updated materials and trim but no major changes as well.
“For the 2013 model update, and in response to customer demand, Suzuki is introducing the five door model to provide further practicality and seating for five,” says the company.
The new Suzuki Swift Sport will be priced from £14,249 for the five-door version while the three-door model costs £13,749.
