Toyota UK has recently announced the new prices for the 2017 Prius, the model now coming cheaper on the local market than the ongoing market.
As opposed to the 2016 model, the new Prius now costs £3,200 less, for a total 31,695, in the Business Edition Plus entry-level. You can find the pricing comparison in the media gallery below.
For the entry-level price, you get plenty of standard equipment like 8.0-inch infotainment system, reversing camera, head-up display, Bluetooth, DAB radio, satellite navigation, wireless smartphone charging, as well as the suite of safety features, all part of the Toyota`s new Safety Sense package.
On the other side, the Business Edition Plus is offered with the Solar Roof system, while the top of the line Excel can be had with parking sensors on both sides, rain-sensing wipers, park assist, premium JBL sound system, voice recognition control, leather upholstery and so on.
In the engine department, all versions come with a 1.8-liter petrol engine paired to an electric motor, for a total of 120 horsepower. The plug-in hybrid is put in motion via an 8.8 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, with a three-hour recharge period on an average household socket. This allows the all-new 2017 Toyota Prius a total range of 31 miles.
As for the plug-in hybrid`s fuel consumption, the new Prius comes with just 1.0L per each 100 km, while the CO emissions stand at only 22 g/km. you can find the full pricing details in the media gallery below.
