The South Korean carmaker Kia has finally announced the availability of the freshly unveiled 2017 Soul and Carens in the United Kingdom, each one coming with four trim levels. Full prices and powertrain specifications can be seen in the media gallery below.
The 2017 Kia Soul is available in 1, 2, 3, 1 Sport grades, with prices to start from £13,995, while the Carens comes with the 1, 2, 3, and 4 trims, the cheapest one setting you back at £18,995.
To start with the 2017 Kia Soul 1, the entry-level version comes with features as standard, including electrically adjustable side mirrors, trip computer, keyless entry, air conditioning and so forth, while the second trim, adds more goodies – wider 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights, satin chrome door handles, leather steering wheel, cruise control with speed limiter, rearview camera, rear parking sensors, and rear privacy glass.
The mid-level trim packs 18-inch alloys, chrome door handles, push-button start, JBL audio system, 8-inch satellite navigation, rear parking sensors and so on. Finally, the top of the line Sport is tweaked with new mechanics, LED fog lights, 18-inch alloys, twin exhaust system, electrically adjustable front seats, and a suit of safety features – High Beam Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert or Spot Detection.
On the 2017 Carens` side, the entry-level 1 version also comes with some impressive standard features, like a choice of 16- or 17-inch alloy wheels, LED DRLs, projection headlights with cornering lamps, leather steering wheel, gear shift, center console armrest, air-con, rear air ventilation, cruise control and much more.
The mid-level 2 and 3 are also equipped with fine tweaks. We should mention the seven-inch touchscreen with Kia Connected Services, TomTom navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, DAB radio, all of them making the 2 version extremely appealing. The 3 variant adds 17-inch alloys, electric driver`s seat, heated front seats and steering wheel, and leather upholstery.
