Video: Aston Martin AM-RB 001 Officially Named the Valkyrie Supercar

The long-rumored and presented Aston Martin AM-RB 001 has finally received its official name from the British sports carmaker, and will be known from now on as the Valkyrie supercar.

The Valkyrie first appeared on the Aston Martin`s body style in 1951 and comprised a whole range of models like the Vantage, Virage, Vanquish and later on the Vulcan. All models have stood the test of time and are now enjoying world recognition.

Speaking of the new Aston Martin Valkyrie, Marek Reichman chief creative officer at Aston Martin has declared that:

“The Aston Martin Valkyrie is an incredibly special car that demands an equally remarkable name: an uncompromising car that leaves nothing in reserve. The connotations of power and honor, of being chosen by the Gods are so evocative, and so pertinent to a car that only a fortunate few will ever experience.”

There are little details known about the Valkyrie supercar, except for the fact that it was built in a partnership with Red Bull Technologies, AF Racing and other companies in the auto technology, and once the full details will be revealed, it will surely blow us away with the latest high-tech features. Unfortunately, all 150 units have been already sold out before their official arriving on the market later on this year.

The Aston Martin Valkyrie comprises Aston Martin`s 104 years of experience in the field, with the effort of creating one of the most outstanding hypercars in the entire world. And in case you don’t know what I mean, just take a closer look at the official video presentation released by the British carmaker below, as well as at the impressive media gallery below released by Motor1 auto magazine!
