With the Goodwood Festival of Speed just around the corner, more vehicles are still being announced for an official debut.
The latest to join the lineup is the Bentley Continental GT3 race car, and the announcement was accompanied by a teaser video.
Compared to the Bentley Continental GT, the GT3 will be a full 1000 kg lighter, with a wide range of modification applied in order to make it FIA-compliant. The body is now more aerodynamic, and it sports a revised bumper and carbon fiber rear wing. Underpinning improvements include track suspension, competition brakes a roll cage and carbon fiber seats.
Under the hood it shelters a 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 that delivers power to the rear wheels via a six speed sequential gear box. The Bentley Continental GT3 is yet another reason to visit the Goodwood Festival of Speed, and even if you miss it, expect to see the vehicle present in a wide range of competition events.
