Australia: 2018 Audi RS 5 Arrives in December

Set to arrive in Australia this December with a price tag of $156,600, the all-new 2018 Audi RS 5 is definitely going to be the new kid on the block in the sports coupe segment, a true competitor against the new BMW M4, Mercedes-AMG C 63 or Lexus RC F.

The car`s finest highlights are the advanced aerodynamics and mechanics, and the group`s new platform which sheds off some serious weight. All for increase performance and sheer power under the hood.

Visually, the model borrows the general design of the new-gen A5, still it comes with a more aggressive approach around the front and rear bumpers. The wheels are also wider and provide better grip and increase stance in tight corners.

The luxurious theme is given inside by the leather-wrapped bucket seats, contrast stitching, or RS logos. Technologically, the 2018 Audi RS 5 is supreme, standing out from the crowd with the company`s new Virtual Cockpit Digital Instrument Cluster, LCD media interface, or the high-performance Bang & Olufsen stereo system with 3D surround.

The 2018 Audi RS 5 is state-of-the-art in terms of mechanics too, being fitted with the new front and rear suspension system, which on the car`s MLB Evo platform, becomes extremely efficient in terms of handling dynamics.

It also uses a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, with impressive 331 kW and 600 Nm of torque, enabling thus a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in a mind-blowing 3.9 seconds. This means that it is even faster than the new M4 or the Lexus RC F.
