The Japanese people from Mazda unveiled a new special edition for the MX-5 roadster, namely the Senshu variant. Mazda says that Senshu means “player” in Japanese, the new MX-5 special edition being limited to 200 units.
Under the bonnet we find a 2.0-liter petrol unit delivering 158 horsepower, coupled to a six-speed manual transmission.

In terms of equipment, the new MX-5 Senshu is based on the Sports Line version featuring a black top, chrome tail pipes, 17-inch alloy wheels with 204/45 R17 tires, racing stripes and black accents for the front grille.

Other features include a premium Bose audio system, xenon headlights, a new sports suspension from Bilstein and cruise control.

Entering the cabin you will find leather seats in black and grey finish, automatic climate control, contrasting red stitching, aluminum pedals and trim.

According to Mazda, the new MX-5 Senshu will be priced from €29,190 in Germany. As mentioned above, just 200 cars of this special edition will hit the road.
