Renault officially introduced the Megane GT220, a more powerful version of the current model, available in all configurations. To be more specific, the GT220 package is available on the coupe, hatchback and also wagon model.
Power is offered by a 2.0-liter petrol unit producing 220 horses and 340 Nm of torque for a 0-100 km/h sprint in 7,6 seconds and a top speed of 240 km/h. All the power is transferred to the wheels via a six-speed manual transmission.

In terms of styling, buyers will get 18-inch Serdard alloy wheels, revised bumpers, new air intakes, a rear diffuser and other minor tweaks.

The entry-level model, namely the hatchback, starts from £23,245 while the coupe costs £24,230 and the Sport Tourer, the wagon version, has a price tag of £24,245.
