2018 Ford Mustang Convertible Launched

Just about a week ago, rendering artists already envisioned their own Convertible version of the recently unveiled 2018 Mustang at the NAIAS, in Detroit, and now we have the chance of seeing the real deal in flash, with just around the same styling cues as the stock version, except the soft roof, of course.

As we can depict from the two pictures we have got so far, the real 2018 Ford Mustang Convertible is highlighted exactly as the rendering released last week.

We are looking basically at the facelifted model of the previous model, taking its overall styling inspiration from the standard 2018 Mustang.

Even so, once arriving first on the United States market this autumn, the Convertible version will come with some styling bits of its own. This means new colours at the exterior, a wide range of wheel choices, as well as some new high-tech gizmos inside, like the carmaker`s up-to-date digital instrument cluster.

Other equipment bits also refer to a wide range of safety features – including Lade Departure Warning or Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection – adding as well the optional MagneRide suspension system, MyMode system with memory function or active valve exhaust.

In the engine department, the all-new 2018 Ford Mustang Convertible drops the V6 configuration and adds some new power upgrades for both the standard 2.3-liter EcoBoost and the 5.0-liter V8 engine. Full performance figures for this particular version will be announced at a later date. Meanwhile, take a closer look at the all-new Mustang Convertible and decide if there are any visible changes as opposed to the last year`s model!
