Vauxhall released official details, photos and pricing info on the new VXR8 GTS, a high-performance sedan which starts from £54,999 in the UK.
The British model makes use of a supercharged V8 powerplant offering 576 horsepower and 738Nm of torque. Based on the HSV GEN-F GTS, the new model is expected to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in about 4,5 seconds with a top speed of 250 km/h.
At the exterior, Vauxhall offers new front and rear bumpers, a revised front grille, LED daytime running lights and 20-inch alloy wheels fitted with Continental tires.
A magnetic ride control system is available as well and provides three different modes, namely Touring, Sport and Track. Traction control, brake torque vectoring and launch control are also available for the new Vauxhall VXR8 GTS.
Inside, buyers get several safety systems including forward collision alert, revere traffic alert, automatic park assist and blind zone alert.
