2012 Hyundai Verna unveiled at the Chinese Guangzhou Auto Show

Hyundai, together with Beijing Automotive Industry Holding Company, decided to reveal the new Verna five-door hatch at the 8th Guangzhou Auto Show, a model which is better known in Europe as Accent. The new Hyundai Verna is a joint venture between the Korean manufacturer and the Chinese people from Beijing Automotive Industry Holding Company and the model is scheduled to enter production next year.

Thus, the Chinese customers will meet the new Hyundai Accent earlier than the Europeans, actually, there are not any details about when the new generation Accent will debut.

The new Hyundai Verna will benefit from two petrol engines, the first one being a 1.4-liter propeller developing 108HP/135 Nm while the second one is a 1.6-liter able to develop 124HP/155 Nm. Together with the new Hyundai Verna, the Korean manufacturer revealed a total of 18 more models at the Guangzhou Auto Show, a motor show based on “Tech & Future”.

Most GMs are made in Canada now. Every year Hyundai has more and more of their U.S. mdeols produced here while GM sends ours overseas. The only car that has recently been brought to U.S. production was the Cruze. And the money does stay here in the form of employment and pay checks. Plus their built quality is superior along with price, reliability, cost of ownership and warranty.
