In case you Mopar fans were wondering what you should be expecting to see at the Detroit Motor Show, then wonder no more. In what can only be described as a NAIAS preview, we found out that the 2011 Chrysler 200 has been to the Mopar workshop and came out being called the Super S.
Not to be outdone in calling cars back to the service stations by Ford, Chrysler’s Dodge has some bad news of itself. In fact, the Chrysler Group is so ambitious about having a bigger problem that their recall is a triple one involving calling in the same cars but fixing checking them for three problems.
My bet is that Chrysler realized that teasing the 300 for the Detroit Motor Show wouldn’t be enough (and it isn’t) so they went ahead and rectified that situation. So we now have a full press release on the 2011 Chrysler 300 ahead of its debut at the aforementioned motor show event.
My guess is that when Chrysler fully revealed the 300 they may have gotten ahead of themselves ra bit. It’s the only explanation for previewing it for the Detroit Motor Show when it’s already been seen.
